Our Philosophy

Kidditech provides quality early childhood education for young children, and inspiration for all involved with Kidditech Early Learning Centre. We are passionate about science, technology and learning. It is our aim to provide a stimulating environment for discovery and learning. We use the natural inter-relationships science and technology has with all areas of education and with our everyday lives. We believe an early introduction to these concepts will empower children to become competent and confident learners and communicators in today’s world.

Science and Technology at Kidditech is all about enquiry based learning extending the children's interests and ideas. We make use of computers for research, cameras to capture the fun and learning and fascinating resources to inspire. The team offers the children a wide variety of experiences using resources and language based around a wide range of concepts.

Our Environment

The environment is designed to foster exploration and extend children’s interests through positive, fun learning experiences. Providing a safe and secure environment where children are able to grow and develop to their full potential socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally.

Kidditech provides natural outdoor spaces for children to play, have fun and learn with an open plan indoor area and separate sleep room for quiet rest times. With just 30 children our small group size means we can provide quality learning experiences in a relaxed and calm space where friendships are nurtured and children can express themselves. Kidditech provides nutritious morning and afternoon snacks which are prepared by the team, the children are encouraged to be involved in preparing food as a valuable learning experience. The children pick, prepare and eat food they have helped care for in the centre vegetable garden.

Our Programme

The programme provided is based around project work derived from the children’s individual interests and ideas. All curriculum areas of early childhood education are made available at a high level using science and technology as the underlying teaching medium. Learning happens in the process of play and the teachers’ role is to encourage children, discovering together, where the familiar is embraced along with challenges.

The learning and exploration at Kidditech are planned by our experienced team to meet the individual needs and interests of your child at their age and stage. The team will provide appropriate support and encouragement for fun and learning through spontaneous and planned experiences within the unique philosophy of Kidditech. We aim to inspire the children to be creative, happy, healthy learners.

Our Community

We foster a culture where children’s friendships and individuality are embraced, and parents are supported as the first teachers of their children. Parent, family, whanau, and community involvement is encouraged and resources within the community are valued and enjoyed. Your child will be supported and cared for by caring qualified early childhood teachers.  These teachers will work hard to build trusting relationships with you and your child and as you are an integral part of your child’s learning experience with us you are encouraged to be involved in the life of the centre.

You just have to come and see the centre, you will be impressed, so please bring your child in for a play and see how happy, relaxed and fun Kidditech is. We are looking forward to meeting you and your child.
