Nicole Batty

My name is Nicole and I graduated from Rangi Ruru Early Childhood College in 2014. I have a large family who are very important to me and I love spending time around them. This is something which is strongly reflects in my practice; my value of strong relationships. When I'm not found spending time with my family I am usually doing something creative, whether it be baking and cake decorating, candle making, or trying out a new challenge. I also enjoy exercising outside just another way I can challenge myself and keep a clear mind!

Why am I a preschool teacher?

It’s something I have always wanted to do ever since I was a young child myself. For me being able to spend my day filled with laughter and new discoveries it is truly a dream career. What children are capable of is truly amazing and this is what I get to see unravel each and every day.

What I love about teaching?

Children's natural curiosity is refreshing I love to be able to learn and explore alongside children and see them discover the world around us. Most importantly children make me laugh and their happiness is contagious.
