Philosophy

Kidditech provides quality early childhood education for young children, and inspiration for all involved with Kidditech early learning centre. It is our aim to provide a stimulating environment for discovery and learning, applying the natural inter-relationships science and technology has with all areas of education and our everyday lives. Children of today will grow up in surroundings were an early introduction to science and technology concepts will empower them to become competent and confident learners and communicators.

The environment is designed to foster exploration and extend children’s interests through positive, fun learning experiences. Learning happens in the process of play and the teachers’ role is to encourage children, discovering together, where the familiar is embraced along with challenges. Providing a safe and secure environment where children are able to grow and develop to their full potential socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally.

The teaching team are qualified and professional, with the passion and skills to identify and extend on children’s interests, learning, and development and skilled in the use of the Early Childhood Curriculum - Te Whaariki as a tool for planning and reflection. The programme provided will be based around science and technology workshops, and project work derived from the children’s interests and ideas. All curriculum areas of early childhood education will be made available at a high level using science and technology as the underlying teaching medium.

We foster a culture where children’s friendships and individuality are embraced, and parents are supported as the first teachers of their children. Parent, family, whanau, and community involvement is encouraged and resources within the community are valued and enjoyed. Kidditech is passionate about science, technology and learning and encourages open communication ensuring the environment for children and teachers is fun and rewarding. We believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and inspiration is the key to all we do.
